Hot and Humid!!!!

The weather condition is wiping me out. Not just me, my cat and my dogs too. They drink a lot recently. I have to refill their empty bottle 2-3 times a day, usually only once a day. The hot and humid weather is so intolerable. Wish it snow now!

How to overcome the heat?

1. Frequent bath.

2. Soak in the bath tub.

3. Sprinkle water to yourself every minute.

4. Soak in a bucket of ice.

The above methods cause lots of water wastage.

5. Do nothing so you don’t sweat. Anyhow I still sweat after every bath even though I do nothing.

6. Powder yourself with cooling powder such as Prickly heat, Aiken or Dettol.

My favourite brand for me to stay cool in the hot and humid weather.

7. Drink lots of water to prevent dehydration. Freezing coca cola really mends the parched throat.

8. Wear nothing. Get naked!

9. Sit in front of the fan. Switch to the highest speed.

10. Turn on air conditioning. Adjust to the coolest temperature its best set to 10C. ( if are able to do that ) I have not utilized my blanket since the start of the drought in my air-condition room.

11. If you have a swimming pool. Go deep in.

Place to hide

12. If you find it’s unhygienic to soak in the pool. Go hide out in shopping malls!

13. If you are on budget, pretend to buy something in the shops with air-conditioning. Ask weird things if the sales persons walk near you and keep browsing till you find where the coolest spot is. Act like you are buying then again once you feel you are chill enough, it’s time to go to the shop next door.

14. Sit in a restaurant or diner for hours after meals.

15. Stand in front of the cold storage area in hypermarket.

16. Watch movies in cinema. Watch couples of movies continuously.

17. Stand in front of your ajar fridge.

18. Hide in the Mines Ice Wonderland. You got to pay for it. Or Ice factory if you have friends work in there.

19. Drive up to Bukit Tinggi or Genting Highland.

20. Fly to country which is entering winter now such as Oz and Nz.

There you have it 20 methods. Which do you opt ?

Whats in my wish list?

I own a bucket list. Come to think again it might take forever to execute it. I might die in my sleep later. I am switching my bucket list to a wish-list (for shorter terms). I want to become skilled with lots of cognition.

1. I want to cook and bake and be a mixologist.

2. I yearn to converse, write and comprehend in other foreign languages.

3. I am so eager to become a diva for a plus size, perhaps an icon for a plus size in Malaysia fashion industry. We have been left out for so long. (It’s just an icon not Mia Tyler), I am a no body but it’s a dream for bigger people! We have plus size celebrities such as Queen Latifah, Adele, Emma Gems, Kat Brandy, Mia Tyler. So size shouldn’t be judged that arduous? I am sure no one is perfect; give us fat people a chance.

4. Make up! I am so into the smoky eyes right now. Practicing at home for fun.

5. Winning the jackpot in lottery!!! My priority wish and dream. Huat ah!!!!

I am doing half of the list now. Maybe I can continue more of the list after my sleep..

“Flymas.mobi – as easy as 1,2,3!”

Malaysia AirlinesImage via Wikipedia

I can still remember 20 years ago how my dad use to book our air tickets in advance for months before departure dates, intended for the family flying from Tawau back to our good all home town in Penang. He has to queue in the Malaysia Airlines office for hours just to take hold of those tickets Traveling at those time were hectic and exhausted. Not to mention there weren’t any connecting flights at that time. We have to stop at almost every state in the country just to go back to Penang. Flying was fun but when retrieving the process I was like ughhhh…I am not going to go through all of that again.….

Progressively MAS has gradually improved and enhanced their quality of service and products ever since then. By then Malaysia Airline has increased their frequent flight both domestically in Sabah and to the West Malaysia, MAS has also successfully made KLIA the world re-known International Airport and the most majestic thing of all MAS as the best airline in the world and having the best cabin crew in the world.

With the internet and conveniences of computers, subsequently MAS started to have their own home page www.malaysiaairlines.com where with the magic of our index fingers by just clicking the mouse we are easily allow to book and purchase air flight tickets online. At that very moment we can print out the E- Tickets. That is where the era starts; there will be no more hustle and bustle getting trouble to stuck in some sort of traffic congestion just to travel to some travel agents or to Malaysia Airlines office to buy our tickets.

Today year 2009, MAS has even enhanced significantly on their service and products by introducing their latest technology on our daily use, mobile phone. Flymas mobile booking engine is as easy as 1-2-3. I am sure every mobile phone user knows how to access on it. Simply log on to http://flymas.mobi on your mobile, flymas.mobi has all the enhanced features on the small screen on your phone! Besides booking and purchasing flight tickets, we are now able to check in before for our flights depart. Once more we have avoided another queue in the airport. Fly.mobi even has that special feature for us to check our flight status, time table and our bookings. Not only have the basics of booking aired tickets features, we are able to select seats when purchasing our air tickets. You might want to get more comfy on your favorite seats when you buy an air ticket.

If you are frequent flyers, you would definitely love the new enhanced booking engine from flymas.mobi, you are able to plan your itinerary and get hold of MAS great best deals! There is no greater news other than being the first person to know that special offer MAS tickets on your mobile phone. Can’t live without Facebook? As spoken, you can even connect your itinerary via Facebook! It’s the most amazing tool ever.

Now everything is just a click away, it’s ridiculously easy. Plan to fly? Take out your mobile phone from your pocket. Key in http://flymas.mobi search for your destination. Click and you are ready to fly! Nothing is more convenience that this. trust me you'll love it.

The ugly truth..

Day 1

A flyspeck woman at her 30’s wearing tight yoga pants and a loose blouse; might be too concern of sun rays exposure; she has this long sleeve of togs covering both her hands. She came in quietly with a man at his 40-ish wearing a gold square frame spectacle and a massive, eye catching curly hair, wearing T-collar light blue button shirt. They looked around for a minute or two then sat down quietly behind a pillar away from those nosy eyes. The most isolate obscure sitting place in the shop. That is table 45.

One might not notice them if are too busy at work. They ordered a pot of tea and sat for 4 hours. Once in a while the man will walk to the washroom doing his fly while walking.

Day 2

Miss afraid of sun and Mr. Curly came again that noon. They are wearing the same outfit. It was awfully hot that day, without hesitation they sat on table 45. Not even an eye on any other comfortable seats. The old fans at their high speed are pulling in the hot air blowing at their oily face. Not one was seating at that particular area. The sun was burning hot blinding everyone’s eyes in the shop. They make no heed but sit comfortable facing the hot sun. I find it weird but who cares….. Again they sat for 4 hours with just a pot of Chinese tea. This really has brought my attention. Who the hell sat under the hot fucking sun for 4 hours?

Day 3

Ms. Afraid of the Sun came again with Mr. Curly bringing a child along. She must be 4 years of age. “Mummy mummy blab la bla “she address the lady. Ok so that is the child’s mom. A family of 3 came to eat today. Again ordered a pot of tea, asked if they would like to ordered some food to eat, “Later!” exclaimed the uncivil bitch. Not a smile. Her nose is constantly aiming the sky. At that time the child shouted “uncle, uncle”. Huh? Who is this man? It’s not the child’s father. Suspicious minds starts to eyeing them. The man ignores the child, not a word. His squinting eyes were look ing away from the child.

They again sat for few hours; the child was drench with sweat. Poor kid, she was playing with the toothpick, tissue and water to chase away her boredom. Then suddenly the mother yelled at her and gave her couples of hard cold slap on her face. She wept into tears. What is she thinking? She is slapping her kids in front of the public, subsequently yelled her to stop weeping. It was uncomfortable to witness her striking her own kid in public in such manner. The child hastily stops bawling and sat straight in her best behavior. An hour later they left.

Day 4

They came without the child and sat behind the pillar at the infamous table 45. They ordered a beer every half an hour. They sat for 6 hours that day. My curiosity got my nerve. What is with them sitting the whole day in the shop? It’s annoying for them sit in the shop ordering beer every half an hour. I walked to table 45, walked around that area. I was surprised to see that woman rub her legs against the man’s thigh then her flirty hands softly stroked on the man’s lap arousing Mr. Curly. Slut the word simply came to my mind. They were having affair behind the pillar at table 45 all those time.

Reminds me of that poor child, the mom brought her to witness all the ugly affair of hers’. Yet the innocent she got that slap from her very own mom in front of Mr. Curly. Seems to me is like mentally and physical abuse to me.

Life sometimes is kinda complicated. If parents could be more responsible on every way they are doing. Child shouldn’t be drag along.

Day 5

They came and conquer table 45 but did not last long as later table 44 and 46 were occupied. They were sandwich in between. I guess they felt uncomfortable and left early for other place.

Day 6

The little girl came along; they hang for more than 4 hours. The child again plays with her own self witness the ugly truth of her own mom. Mom was openly embracing the man who the child addressed as uncle.

Days ……

More to come ………to see the ugly truth.

9 words men should be alert of.

I do exercise 4 out of 9 of these words below during my conversation with my husband.

(1)
Fine:
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you
need to shut up.

(2)
Five Minutes:
If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only
five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the
game before helping around the house.

(3)
Nothing:
This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be
on your toes.Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in
fine.

(4)
Go Ahead:
This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5)
Loud Sigh:
This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood
by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she
is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing.
(Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6)
That's Okay:
This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man.
That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and
when you will pay for your mistake.

(7)
Thanks:
A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're
welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says
'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT
say 'you're welcome'. that will bring on a'whatever').

(8)
Whatever:
Is a woman's way of saying F---YOU!

(9)
Don't worry about
it, I got it:
Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told
a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a
man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

After a long observation, few of my friend definitely use those words while talking to their partner.

How to be a good wife?

What does a good wife do ? I read thru an article and it kinda perturb me, it made me want to share this article , The good wife's guide from the 60's.

Without further ado.....

Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have be thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospect of a good meal (especially his favourite dish) is part of the warm welcome needed.

Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.

Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.

Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Run a dustcloth over the tables.

Over the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering for his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.

Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Encourage the children to be quiet.

Be happy to see him.

Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.

Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first - remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.

Make the evening his. Never complain if he comes home late or goes out to dinner or other places of entertainment without you. Instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure and his very real need to be at home and relax.

Your goal: To try and make sure your home is a place of peace, order, and tranquillity where your husband can renew himself in body and spirit.

Don't greet him with complaints and problems.

Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or have him lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.

Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.

Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.

A good wife always knows her place.

Who knows a little hint of this might make you a perfect wife? If you succeed trying all of the above and your husband give you a good pat on the back or make sweet sweet love to you. LOL.. You have reach your aim.

Happy Merdeka to fellow Malaysian!

Tunku Abdul Rahman proclaiming Malayan indepen...Image via Wikipedia

Happy Merdeka Malaysia!

Today might be just another rest day for others, whilst for some individuals and veterans find this is one hell of a special day for they have fought for Malaysians. Younger generation might not acknowledge the meaning of Independence Day. Freedom they say. So what freedom do they have in mind? Perhaps they demand parents to stop judging and controlling per se.

Do Malaysians take things for granted then? Does your parents and school teacher really explains and describe to you what does Merdeka means? It’s not just reading from your History text book about how Tunku Abdul Rahman who cried out Merdeka 7 times on 31 August 1957 then declared a public holidays for the rest of the years.

All those years in high school, we kept on reminding ourselves the date of our county’s Independence Day. During my school days, the simplest thing that I ever remembered and understand the reason behind Merdeka is a day we are free from foreigner invasion. I am sure adolescents today have the same idea.

Do you remember how to sing the song Setia? Demi Negara yang tercinta…..

It has been years since it last aired on TV, while Michael Jackson’s song broadcast more frequent than our national anthem Negaraku. Don’t you think? I do know some who has totally forgotten our National Anthem’s lyric. MTV music has invaded our national TV.

What ever it is, how faithful or patriotic you are, we have come all the way to 52 years of Merdeka so Happy Merdeka to the Peninsular Malaysian and Happy Holidays to the East Malaysian!

Tips on how to avoid spotting ghost in hotel rooms.

12 ways to avoid haunted hotel rooms:

1. Knock on door or press door bell before enterin

2. When entering
hotel room for 1st time, enter sideways so as to allow the 'dirty thing' to leave the room.
3. Leave a pair o

11. DONT FORGE

12. I think the best way is to leave the room if you find its haunted !

Colin the Aborigine - Joke of the day

A rich man living in Darwin decided that he wanted to throw a party

And invited all of his buddies and neighbours. He also invited Colin,

The only aborigine in the neighbourhood.

He held the party around the pool in the backyard of his mansion.

Everyone was having a good time drinking, dancing, eating prawns,

Oysters and BBQ and Flirting..

At the height of the party, the host said, 'I have a 15ft man-eating

Crocodile in my pool and I'll give a million dollars to anyone who

Has the balls to jump in.'

The words were barely out of his mouth when there was a loud splash

And everyone turned around and saw Colin in the pool fighting the croc,

Jabbing the croc in the eyes with his thumbs, throwing punches, doing

All kinds of Stuff like head butts and chokeholds, biting the croc on the

Tail and flipping the croc through the air like some kind of Judo

Instructor.

The water was churning and splashing everywhere.. Both Colin and the

Croc were screaming and raising hell.

Finally Colin strangled the croc and let it float to the top like a dead

Goldfish.

Colin then slowly climbed out of the pool.

Everybody was just staring at him in disbelief.

The host says, 'Well, Colin, I reckon I owe you a million dollars.'

'Nah, you all right boss, I don't want it,' said Colin.

The rich man said, 'Man, I have to give you something. You won the bet.

How about half a million bucks then?'

'No thanks. I don't want it,' answered Colin.

The host said, 'Come on, I insist on giving you something. That was

Amazing.

How about a new Porsche and a Rolex and some stock options?

Again, Colin said “No.”

Confused, the rich man asked, 'Well Colin, then what do you want?

Colin said,

'I want the bastard who pushed Me in.'

beng Hock's final journey home -

Just to share a bit, recently, I have been looking at the hapless pictures of the late Teoh Beng Hock. The pictures it self have spoken thousands words. The grieve ness, deplorable news and his family who is devastated of his death. I my self wept feeling emotional. It’s a tragic. We'll never know what is going to happen the next second. It’s a weird circumstance where it takes time to comprehend. May he rest in peace.

I would like to share this Final Journey of late Teoh Beng Hock- via You tube. A site where I found stated in China Press.

Might be culture shock for some

I saw my friend sitting face to face chatting with a man at the age of 60’s. He is partly bald; wrinkles are to be seen from far. I got pretty “kepo” so I walked towards them. When I reached nearer everything became clearer. I can’t help but notice this man’s last one standing tooth which sill hangs on his gum. I didn’t make any comment or say “Hi”, I sat closely to my friend listened to their chat.

“Do you know that Japanese girls love men who speak English? They will adore you; stalk you like crazy if you can speak Standard 3 English.” I have heard this before but sound skeptical to me. The uncle continued “Last time I have had many Japanese girl friends that followed me”. Huh??? Your one tooth hanging like that and Japanese girls all over you ah ??? Sure boh? I can’t stop but laughing in front of him. I know I was rude then again I try not to laugh out loud but to listen closely what he going to say next.

This uncle is telling about his past experience living in Japan. He returns home 10 years ago. He can’t help forgetting his life in Japan so I sat closely, listened to his story. He shares his life stories with us. Like kids listening to bed time stories. He blab a lot of his working life in Japan which I pay no heed till he starts with the culture shock. Subject.

Hope this is not offensive. I’ll share what I‘ve heard – accorded to this uncle statement.

- Prostitution service is counted hourly. An hour might cost you around 10 thousand yen. So if you can finish your pleasure with A woman in less than the few minutes, you can get second B girl without extra charge, finish with B girl you can continue with C girl. What ever it is that 10 grand yen must be settle in an hour. Not bad eh ? Bare in mind this is not for tourist!

- A pub. Alcohol drinks are placed high above- on top of the bar shelves. Waitresses are expected to climb up the bar to grab a drink for a man without wearing their undies. Only short mini skirts are allowed. The rules of this game, men are not allowed to touch the waitress not even a hair.

- Sashimis are spread on a naked body. No utensils are used during the meal. You are to only use tongue to put the food in your mouth. Few people will seat around the body to get hold of that few pieces of fish.

- I think you have heard of sniffing used undies, used sanitary pad, playing with feces and urine.

- There is granny prostitution too. Yes granny is working! People queue for their turn!

I don’t’ know if it’s true. It’s a shame statement that women are treated like this in their country. I know it will be eye opening for some one who never heard of this. If you know more other than this SHARE with me!!! hahhaha......

After token Mania

Usually I will switch on my lap top, automatically sign in to Air Asia website right away. It’s like a routine. After July 4th seems like I got nothing to else to achieve or do. “Ciak pah boh su cho” = Eat full nothing to do..

Hai..back to my old sluggish life. What does a house wife do whilst she has got nothing to do? CLEANING lor~ Magic wand mana U tak timbul lagi ke?

I have been planning months to go to Pets World Exhibition in Mid Valley on the 3-5th July and I intended to compete in the Amateur Grooming Competition on the 3rd. Errr…after decisions and discussions at the end of the day, I don’t have the heart, utensils and confident. No guts at all!

So I end up went as a visitor yesterday, witnessed cat fashion competition, bought some snacks for me pets and antiseptic soap bar. Toby has this wound which keeps haunting him after it heals. It has been on and off for years. The other thing is Toby loves to lick and scratch his wound which is not helping. Hopefully the antiseptic soap and his medication can nurse back to health fast. Oh, I do bring him to the vets. It’s just that I don’t think the root of either fungi or bacteria are wiped out yet.

Ok pen down. Mana pen? Hehe .. Continue with my movie marathon – Rosy business.

Poor Toby's wound..

The Cat competition
